Anders Alm, Jaime Beck, Owen Chan, and Nan Nassef met at the beginning of their careers as high school English teachers. Together they suffered the pangs of being initiated into the teaching profession and banded together to stay afloat. Owen and Anders currently teach in Calgary, while Jaime is a PhD student at the University of Alberta studying teacher retention and attrition, and Nan is a doula and creative writer in Calgary, Alberta. With their unique combination of skills we’ve created a truly interactive, positive, supportive, and humorous series of workshops to support new teachers.
